Hawaii Storms Back in last inning to win West Regional

Central East Maui Little League from Wailuku, Hawaii won the 2017 Western Regional to advance to the 2017 Intermediate World Series.  Hawaii ended up with a perfect 7-0 record, outscoring their opponents 101-21.  But they were three outs away from their season ending.

In the Championship game against a strong Northern California team, Hawaii was down 6-3 entering the top of the 7th.  They exploded for 18 runs, and then held on for a 21-10 win.


Hawaii will play their first game of the Intermediate World Series on Sunday, July 30th at 3pm PST against the Southeast team from North Palm Beach, Florida.

The Intermediate World Series will start on Sunday July 30th in Livermore CA, and conclude with the World Championship game on Sunday August 6th at 6pm PST.
