New Jersey wins East Regional to advance to World Series

Freehold Township Little League from Freehold, New Jersey won the 2017 East Regional to advance to the 2017 Intermediate World Series.  Freehold went 5-1 in the regional, winning double headers on both Tuesday July 25th and Wednesday July 26th.  This is the second consecutive year that a team from New Jersey has won the East regional (North Vineland Little League from Vineland, NJ).

New Jersey will play their first game of the Intermediate World Series on Sunday, July 30 at 6pm PST against the host District 57 team from Danville, CA.

The Intermediate World Series will start on Sunday July 30th in Livermore CA, and conclude with the World Championship game on Sunday August 6th at 6pm PST.
