LIVERMORE, Calif., June 3, 2013 — Livermore, California and California District 57 Little League and Tri-Valley Bank announced that it has entered into an agreement to sponsor the inaugural Intermediate Little League World Series, held July 30 through August 5, 2013 in Livermore, California.

“We are excited to have Tri-Valley Bank as our first corporate partner and we look forward to developing our relationship over the coming years,” said Dave Wetmore, World Series Tournament Director. “The International Little League World Series is sure to be an exciting, well attended event. We appreciate their commitment to this inaugural event.”

In addition to becoming one of the presenting sponsors, Tri-Valley Bank will have advertising presence inside Max Baer Stadium in Livermore, CA.

The Intermediate Division began as a two-year pilot program, before becoming an official division in 2012. Players ages 11-13 are eligible to play in this Intermediate baseball league, which features a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot bases, also known as “50/70”.
