Intermediate (50/70) World Series

Little League Intermediate World Series

The Little League Intermediate World Series (LLIWS) will be returning to Livermore, CA in 2017 for its fifth year, and will be played from July 30th – August 6th.

This is one of only seven World Series’ that Little League Baseball puts on ever year, and first and only in the baseball-rich state of California.


This year’s participants are:

International Division

Asia Pacific:        West Seoul Little League, Seoul South Korea

Canada:               Diamond Baseball Little League, Mirabel Quebec

Europe-Africa:   Ile-de-France Little League, Paris France

Latin America:   Cacique Mara Little League, Maracibo Zulia, Venezuela

Puerto Rico:       Radames Lopez Little League, Guayama, Puerto Rico

US Division

CA District 57:   Danville, Danville CA

Central:               Highlander Youth Little League, Georgetown Indiana

East:                    Freehold Township Little League, Freehold New Jersey

Southeast:          North Palm Beach County Little League, North Palm Beach Florida

Southwest:         Western Little League, San Angelo Texas

West:                   Central East Maui Little League, Wailuku Hawaii





  • The 2017 Little League Intermediate World Series will be played on Livermore, CA on July 30th – August 6th, 2017


  • We will have 11 teams participating in the 2017 Intermediate World Series.
  1. US (6 teams): Central, East, Southeast, Southwest, West, and Host team from CA District 57
  2. International (5 teams):  Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe-Africa, Latin America, and Puerto Rico

2016 Results and Bracket

The 2016 Little League Intermediate World Series will start on Sunday, July 31st, with the Championship Game to be held at 5:30pm PST on Sunday August 7th.

2015 Results

The team from West Seoul Little League in Seoul, South Korea had a very impressive 2015 World Series.  The Asia-Pacific representative beat the Southeast team, 10-5 in the Championship game.  In the process, the South Korean team went 5-0, and outscored their opponents 56-15.

The US Champion from the Southeast region was the Wellington Recreation Little League from Wellington, Florida.  They were undefeated heading into the Championship game.

2014 Results

The Nogales Little League team, representing the Western Region, went 4-0 in the tournament and defeated the team from Samaritana Little League in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico by a score of 11-4 to win the 2014 Intermediate World Series.

2013 Results

At the Inaugural Intermediate World Series, the team from Izumisano Little League in Osaka, Japan, rolled to a perfect 4-0 record, and outscored their opponents by a combined 51-4.  In the Championship game, they outplayed the US Champion from Chartiers Valley Little League, Collier Township, PA and won 10-1.
